Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Keizaal Atlas (the “Service”), a website and companion application operated by Wasteland Industries LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Keizaal Atlas provides a live world map, automated route suggestions, personal waypoints and routes, resource location data, and an optional friends feature for players of the Keizaal world. The Service includes this website, the web application, and a small local helper program (the “agent”) that you may install to report your in-game position.

2. Beta & development status

The Service is currently in closed beta and under active development. It is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, break, or be added or removed, and the Service may be unavailable, reset, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.

3. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
  • Accounts are created by signing in with a third-party identity provider (Discord). You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login secure.
  • You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party platform you use alongside Keizaal Atlas, including Discord, the Keizaal world/server, and Bethesda Softworks.

4. Subscriptions, billing & the local agent

  • During the closed beta, the Service is provided free of charge to invited testers.
  • When paid membership launches, it will be offered as a recurring monthly subscription (planned at $4.99 per month), billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time; see our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Prices, features, and plans may change with reasonable notice.
  • The local agent runs on your own computer at your discretion and reports your in-game position to the Service. You are responsible for installing and running it on hardware you control.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third-party terms;
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its data;
  • Attempt to access, reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service’s server-side logic, routing engine, or data that is not made available to you;
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or other users;
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and original content, is owned by Wasteland Industries LLC and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Keizaal Atlas is an unofficial, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Media, or the operators of the Keizaal world. The Elder Scrolls, Skyrim, and all related names and marks are the property of their respective owners. Map imagery and related materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their applicable terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate, including the accuracy of any route, map, or resource information.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wasteland Industries LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $20.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Wasteland Industries LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
