Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wasteland Industries LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Keizaal Atlas (the “Service”). We aim to collect only what the Service needs to work.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, display name, and avatar image. We use this to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Discord password.
In-game location & gameplay data
If you run the optional local agent, it reports your character’s in-game position, worldspace, heading, and related gameplay status to the Service. This is used to draw your live map and to improve routing. Movement data is also folded into an anonymous, aggregated routing model that contains no names or identifiers.
Your saved content
Waypoints, routes, favorites, friends, and your app settings, which we store so your data persists between sessions.
Payment information
When paid membership is active, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We store your subscription status and identifiers (such as a Stripe customer ID) needed to manage your membership.
Technical & diagnostic data
We collect basic logs and error reports (for example, timestamps, error messages, and a session cookie used to keep you logged in) to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the map, routing, waypoints, friends, and other features;
- To improve route quality using anonymized, aggregated movement data;
- To manage accounts, subscriptions, and billing;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
3. How we share information
- Anonymous aggregate data: movement data is combined into an anonymous model that powers routing for everyone. It contains no identities.
- Friends: your live location is shown to another player only when you and that player are mutual, accepted friends and you have opted in to sharing. Location sharing is off by default.
- Service providers: we use trusted third parties to run the Service, including Discord (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider. They process data only as needed to provide their service.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Raw individual movement tracks are retained only for a limited period (approximately 30–90 days) and then pruned; the anonymous aggregate routing model may be kept indefinitely. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data (see below).
5. Your choices & rights
- Location sharing with friends is off by default; you control it in the app.
- You can stop the local agent at any time to stop reporting your position.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or closure of your account, by emailing our contact form.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
